Skyss sells tickets in the Skyss app, by SMS to 2412 and at the platform machines, but not on the tram: the operator's own page warns that you cannot buy a ticket on board the light rail in Bergen, and the machines at the airport stops sell zone A only. Board without one and an inspector's fee applies.
The airport express bus is a separate operator with its own fares: a Skyss single or period ticket is not valid on it, and a Flybussen ticket is not valid on Skyss. Even the Bergen Card, which makes the Bybanen free, only covers Skyss transport in zone A. Two systems, two tickets.
The same adult seat is 189 kr booked on flybussen.no and 220 kr from the driver, and Flybussen itself says plainly that the cheapest tickets are the ones bought in advance. Return tickets have been withdrawn, so the saving is on every single.
Since 25 November 2025 Avinor's forecourt at Flesland is run by Fast Travel: you order your own car at one of five booking kiosks (at the domestic arrivals exit and at the taxi stand) and agree the price on screen, where the cheapest company is listed first. Drivers who approach you inside the terminal are not part of that system - police have prosecuted unlicensed drivers picking up passengers at Flesland, who target tourists - and Avinor says every driver must state the fixed price before the trip begins.
