The Metro-Train-RER Ticket explicitly excludes boarding at 'Orly Airport' stations and the Orlyval — tap in with the standard fare and the gate (or an inspector) rejects you. The airport surcharge is the €14 Paris Région-Aéroports title... unless you reach the free-zone tram T7 stop instead.
IdFM's own terms: a Paris Région-Aéroports ticket CANNOT be loaded on the same Navigo Easy or phone already holding another ticket — and it's digital-only, no paper at the old-style machines. Arriving with your t+ loaded onto the same Navigo Easy means a second card (€2.05) or the app on your phone.
Orly's 'only rail link' era ended when line 14 opened at the airport: faster (23–26 min centre), longer hours (midnight/01:55 vs 23:35), no RER-B change, and same €14. Orlyval even prints work-day closures (e.g. 21:00 shut on 27 Oct 2026) telling you to take line 14 — while its €13 paper ticket still buys a transfer at Antony.
The tram is the cheap back door — but Orly information pages warn its airport stop is distant from Orly 1–2–3, reached from Orly 4 at level 0 door 48a, and the ride to central connections runs 45+ minutes with a metro change. A €2 saving can cost an hour with luggage.
The taxi forfait depends on which bank your address is on — a rive droite drop 3 km away is €45 while Châtelet-adjacent rive gauche is €36 — and booking fee (€4/€7) and the fifth-passenger €5.50 stack on top of the fixed price, with a two-month meter-update grace the decree grants drivers.
